nef&rous is about creating a secure and exclusive space where transmasculine and transmasculine-adjacent individuals can empower eachother, find resources, learn new skills, collborate together, and not just survive but thrive. It's an idea I've been cooking since 2021, and in 2024 I've committed as it's neccessity becomes more and more apparent.
The vision includes (and this functions as a to-do list):
Resources on reproductive health and breast cancer that do not mis/gender the reader, are specifically about transmasculine reproductive health, and the myths and facts about how HRT and surgeries effect reproductive health and the body. Including a browser extension that degenders pages on gynecological care and the like.
Publication of free zines about transmasculinity within a myriad of subjects. There is one already planned about the relationship between transmasculinity, furry fandom, childhood therianthropy, "animal" as gender, and alterhumanity.
A private forum where transmascs can convene and discuss their lives in peace. Currently there is a discord server and a private subreddit set up, but the goal is a forum and these are in-the-meantime substitutes.
Site features such as: Togglable themes and accessibility, search/filter function by region and language, a WebRadio that exclusively plays music by transmasculine individuals, and a WebRing of other transmasculine sites with resources.
Site migration to a more suitable host. Neocities is temporary.
World domination.
